December is here, but never fear: we have a great list of fun, mostly-free Lowcountry autism events to round out 2015! This month features myriad support groups and some cookies with Santa too.
We do our best to post events on social media, and you can Like us on Facebook and follow on Twitter to stay current with the latest news. But it’s also helpful to have a listing of each month’s events, so that you can review the options available and decide which to attend.
The events below are listed in approximate chronological order.

Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry’s Cookies with Santa!
CML is partnering with Family Connection of South Carolina on Sunday, December 13 for an extra-SUPER SuperStars event: Cookies with Santa!
SuperStars is a FREE, registration-required event in which children with special needs and their families can visit the Museum, explore, and play without the crowds and over-stimulation.
Please be aware that this event is popular; to minimize crowding, you must pre-register for a 1-hour time slot (either 10a – 11a or 11a – 12p).
Don’t forget – there’s a new Parent Support Group for families of children with Asperger’s, HFA, & related conditions every Tuesday in North Charleston!
