The Project Rex team was proud to serve as a sponsor for the 4th annual Lowcountry Autism Forum at the College of Charleston on Saturday, September 19. The Forum is the largest free, live autism conference in the world, and this year’s event had a social skills focus.

Dr. Gwynette, James Truelove, Jennifer Warthen, and Nancy Warren were on hand to participate and give breakout session presentations too.

Yet the real star of the day was Josh, a self-advocate and past Project Rex Group member. Josh’s breakout session, “A First-Hand Glimpse of Autism” was packed! Nearly 40 people gathered to hear him speak, and he did a fantastic job.
