Equine-Assisted Therapy (EAT), also referred to as horse therapy for autism, is a therapeutic approach that involves interactions between individuals with autism and horses. This therapy is facilitated by trained professionals who use horses as a catalyst for promoting emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Equine-Assisted Therapy has been shown to have a positive impact on individuals with autism in various ways, including emotional and social development, sensory integration, and communication/language skills.
