As part of my advanced graduate studies in marriage, couples and family counseling at the University of South Carolina I am conducting my supervised clinical practicum and internship here at MUSC, in the Project Rex program. My specific area of concentration is working with adults, couples, children, teenagers, and their families to meet the unique challenges presented by autism spectrum disorders and related social communication deficits and learning differences.

My general treatment approach is a Client/Person-centered and includes principles of Family Systems, Attachment, and Existential theories. I focus on building a collaborative relationship with clients to highlight and utilize their inherent strengths as a means to improve their overall happiness and functioning in their everyday lives.
