Megan Wagner is a Master in Social Work student at the University of South Carolina. She will be doing her foundation year internship placement with Project Rex for the 2019-2020 academic year. Megan was born in Florence, South Carolina and raised in Hometown, Pennsylvania. Megan graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Social Work. Megan has experience working with behavioral health organizations in Pennsylvania and the Department of Social Services in South Carolina. Megan is currently working for a non-profit aimed towards mentoring, assisting and guiding students with disabilities in high school settings while providing one on one peer support and guidance to participating students with disabilities in a workshop/classroom setting. Megan has a strong passion for helping and enhancing the well-being of others as well as encouraging positive change and empowering individuals. Megan believes that working with Project Rex will provide her with a variety of new experiences through working with clients as well as the knowledgeable staff all in which will help her continue to grow and develop into a successful and competent Social Worker.
