DESCRIPTION:During the training\, participants will: \n\nUnderstand how to support the safety of a child with autism during Summer events such as camps\, trips or just staycations at home.\nReview information about safe\, ASD friendly activities in the South Florida Area.\nLearn about important strategies for preventing of wandering and elopement\nObtain information about local swim programs and drowning prevention resources\nReview local and national organizations offering safety supports and resources for children with ASD and their families.\n\nThis training will be offered online via Zoom. An electronic Zoom meeting link will be shared with participants upon completion of Eventbrite registration.
